Pando Athletics runs five baseball and softball programs out of Columbia, MO. We're looking for volunteer coaches for Spring 2027 (with Fall 2026 tryouts). You'll have full autonomy over your dugout — we handle registrations, communications, scheduling, and uniforms.
Five questions to ask yourself first
Most coaches we recruit are people who answered "yes" to at least one of these.
Have you ever thought about coaching a youth baseball or softball team, but didn't want to take on a full-time job with all that goes along with that?
Would you like to have full autonomy to make coaching decisions but want the support of a larger organization?
Could you be a more effective coach if the mundane back-office tasks were taken off your plate?
Do you feel like you have the knowledge, skills, and most importantly the communication and coaching skills to develop young players?
What would be your concerns about joining an organization — and what might make you consider joining one?
If you nodded along to any of these, we'd love to talk.

This is a volunteer role. We don't hide that. What we offer in return is real: the support, the structure, and the autonomy to actually coach — not manage paperwork.
